What is the ordering schedule?
We currently take orders on a weekly basis. The online store will open every Sunday morning. It will close every Wednesday evening at 5pm. If you miss the order window, you can order the following week.
How does pick up work?
Orders can be picked up at a designated location in Greensboro every Saturday from noon to 3pm. The location address is provided at checkout.
What do i do if i miss the pick up time?
Every cookie at Brown Butter Cookies is made fresh to order. If you miss your designated pickup time, we will hold your order for 24 hours and contact you with alternative pickup instructions. If your order is not picked up within 24 hours and you haven’t contacted us to make other arrangements, your order will be forfeited, and no refunds will be issued. Repeated no call, no shows will result in a ban from our online store.

I placed an order, but i am no longer able to make the pick up time
As soon as you know that you will be unable to pick up your order, reach out to us via our business phone number or contact form to let us know. We will try our best to make alternate arrangements for you!
what is your refund policy?
Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. As for missed pick ups, we prepare every order with care, using precious time and fresh ingredients. When an order isn’t picked up, the time and resources invested are lost. To continue providing high-quality cookies, we must recover these costs — meaning if you miss your pick up without notice, you automatically forfeit your payment. This does not apply to customers who contact us in advance to reschedule their pickup.
Can I purchase your raw cookie dough?
The state of North Carolina prohibits the sale of food items that are frozen or require immediate refrigeration without a special permit.
do you offer gluten free or vegan cookies?
At this time, we do not offer Vegan or Gluten or dairy free cookies. In the future, we hope to create a cookie recipe just as good as our originals that meet specific dietary needs.
How long do cookies stay fresh?
From the time you receive them, our cookies will stay fresh in a sealed container up to 5 days. Cookies can also be vacuum sealed and frozen for up to a month! For that fresh out of the oven taste, just pop them in the microwave for 15 to 25 seconds!
how long is the wait for bulk orders?
For orders of 48 cookies or more, please allow 5 business days to fulfill your order.
Do you ship outside of North Carolina?
We have people all over the country who are eager to try Brown Butter Cookies! Currently, we are hard at work testing shipping methods that are both affordable for our customers and maintain the fresh taste we’re known for. We will notify our subscribers via email about shipping updates as well as post them here on our website and social media pages.
